All our pork, beef and lamb livestock is from rare or native UK breeds which harnesses taste, and contributes positively to the environmental impact, sequestering carbon in our soils and reducing carbon footprint. Our farmers are all local and animals travel short distances to our own small abattoir.
We really do control the process from the farm to your plate. At Edge & Son we never buy intensive or factory farmed livestock. Our belief is that the whole animal should be eaten, not just the ‘choice’. We encourage our customers to try different cuts.
